Anthony Falbo  "Beginning and the End of a Room Full of Vegetables"

Picture
Anthony Falbo is an incredible artist. His works exemplifies the kind of monumental imagery the world has come to recognize in names like Picasso, Klimt, Mondrian, Dali, Van Gogh, Monet.  His work is also diversified. He is most famous for his Cubestraction series, though I would submit that the paintings from his Light and Dark series are every bit as noteworthy.  In fact, the depth and beauty of his impressionist and abstract styles are no less impressive than the paintings for which he is best known

Falbo talks about the time he spent studying the masters who came before him. Like many of these well known painters, Anthony studied other styles of work throughout his lifetime and has evolved into his own style that is unique among his peers.  Though some of his best work is surreal in nature, the artist clearly states that he does not paint from dreams. Falbo tells us that his inspiration is spiritual in nature and from the composition we are left astonished and in wonder as to how a man can create such images. It has been said that Anthony has a style somewhere between Picasso and Dali. While we agree that this artist certainly has the talent to be compared to the masters that came before him, it is also true that Anthony Falbo stands out as one who, painting with his own brush, creates images that bend our perspectives, challenge our beliefs, and malign the mediocre grooves cut into the surfaces of our lives.  In short, Falbo's work pushes our thinking far outside the boxes we have made for ourselves and into the light of spirituality, humor, love, hate, vanity, salvation, and truth. Anthony is a monolithic talent, and we are proud to present his works as our first artist here at Artist-Next.com.
